I can’t tell you how much I miss our rides. As a young girl growing up watching Black Beauty movies along with westerns, riding off into the sunset was something I could only dream of doing. I always wanted to ride “like the wind” you gave me that wonderful opportunity. Being on horseback is everything I dreamed it would be. I have never felt so free and at peace as when I was riding. The 'takeaways' that I've experienced through horse womanship that I can directly apply to achieving my goals are:

Working around the horses increases my awareness of what's going on in the moment (by increasing my alertness and focus on safety on being around a big, somewhat unpredictable animal. This reminds me to 'have a plan, stay focused, and be aware of the outside distractions but not let them deter me from my current task.
Each time I'm around them and have successful interactions with them, it strengthens my courage & confidence that I'm able to carry foward in my business life.
It also increases my leadership & facilitation ability (by leading the horse I'm riding through tricky terrain through staying calm, and laser focused on where I want to go, and communicating that clearly to my mount.
The clicker training makes me more aware of how I communicate to myself and others, and to spend my energy focused on what I want and rewarding through motivation & encouragement to elicit support from myself & others (instead of focusing on what I don't want &/or the negative.
Riding is also about teamwork between the rider & the horse.
